Wedding at Villa di Loro in Tuscany – An Elegant Late Summer Celebration

This beautiful American couple chose Villa di Loro for their wedding in Tuscany, and it could not have been a more perfect setting for a late August celebration. Villa di Loro is a historic Tuscan estate, rich in character and timeless charm, surrounded by an extraordinary Italian garden and elegant architectural details that make every corner visually stunning. From the ancient fountain to the refined courtyard, the villa offers countless romantic backdrops that feel both grand and intimate.

The ceremony took place near an old stone fountain, framed by abundant florals mainly composed of roses in soft shades of yellow, blush pink and lilac. Under the warm Tuscan sun, the garden felt vibrant yet refined, perfectly reflecting the couple’s joyful and romantic energy. The atmosphere was light, elegant and full of anticipation — the kind of late summer day when the air is golden and everything feels beautifully alive.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed an aperitivo in the garden while we explored the villa for couple portraits. Just before sunset, the light became soft and glowing, wrapping the villa in warm tones. We moved through its gardens, stone staircases and hidden corners, using the many stunning spots this historic estate offers. The result was a series of natural, spontaneous images that truly reflect their connection — young, deeply in love and effortlessly elegant.

Dinner was set in the villa’s courtyard, a breathtaking space that felt intimate despite its grandeur. The floral design followed a delicate palette of coral, blush pink, lilac and white, creating a cohesive and romantic atmosphere. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, yet nothing felt excessive — it was refined, harmonious and full of life.

One of the most memorable moments of the evening was the cake show. The couple personally assembled their millefoglie wedding cake in front of their guests, transforming dessert into a shared experience. It was joyful, interactive and uniquely Italian — a beautiful way to involve everyone before the evening continued with celebration and dancing.

Their wedding at Villa di Loro was the perfect example of how a historic Tuscan villa, late summer light and genuine emotions can come together to create an unforgettable wedding in Tuscany. As a wedding photographer in Tuscany, capturing this kind of authentic energy — without forced poses, just real moments — is always what makes a wedding truly timeless.
